I want to express how thankful I am to those who send an official Postcrossing card, tag, or RR postcard from the forum 🙏🏼 For me, this hobby is about connection, the ability to brighten someone’s day, and a creative outlet 📫 The first thing that you have to know about me is that Postcrossing is my favorite hobby! I have not tired of drawing a random address, reading the person’s profile and choosing the best one for each recipient. I am OVERJOYED that the US is finally getting its own Postcrossing stamp!!! I’m Sochil (from Xochítl, which means “flower” in the Nahuatl language native to Mexico). I live in beautiful western Washington state, USA. I’m in my 30s and married; we have a young daughter. I’m a lifelong animal lover with 2 rescued large dogs and a fluffy kitty (the muddy paws behind the account 🐾). I enjoy being outdoors, trips to local parks 🌲, birdwatching, photography, and gardening/keeping houseplants. Losing track of time at the local waterfront beach, a strong cup of coffee, and spending time with friends are life’s luxuries.
